Gift Aid
Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity.
It's a scheme introduced by the UK Inland Revenue allowing us to reclaim from them 28p for every £1 you donate, as long as:

The total amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax you pay annually in the UK equals or exceeds the amount being reclaimed via Gift Aid.
You give us permission to claim.
So, for example, if you donate £20 to 'Arsha Vidya UK,' the Revenue will add £5.64, bringing the total donation to £25.64 at no extra cost to you.
Furthermore, higher rate UK taxpayers may claim back from the Revenue the difference between the higher and basic rate of tax on the value of their donations. For example, if the basic rate is 20% and you pay tax at 40%, you could claim back 20% of any donation.
You need complete our Gift Aid form only once. All future donations receive Gift Aid unless and until you say otherwise. The tax reclaimed through Gift Aid will further help fund our work.
